Need For Conservation Of Wildlife In Nepal


  
Wildlife refers to the varieties of floras & faunas that are present in the environment.The type of plants & animals that are present in a place purely depends on the suitability of climatic conditions,altitude & rainfall.
               

Oceans


An ocean is a body of saline water  that composes a large part of a planet's hydrosphere. In the context of Earth. The 5 oceans are the Pacific,AtlanticIndian, Southern (Antarctic), and Arctic Oceans.Sea is a division of ocean.Earth is the only planet to have Ocean(large area of liquid water).Ocean covers 71% of the earth.

Deserts


A desert is a landscape or region of land that is very dry because of low rainfall amounts (precipitation), often has little coverage by plants, and in which streams dry up.

Imperial Shags


Imperial Shags are medium-sized,black & white marine birds found in sub-antarctic region.They are also known as Antarctic Shag or Blue-eyed shag.They have a ring of blue skin around the eyes.They are strong swimmers & proficient predators of fish.They have bones heavier than other seabirds which along with lack of body fats help to float on water.

Black Browed Albatross


Black-browed Albatrosses are medium sized sea birds.They are the most common of the albatross species.They got their name from their dark black plumage above the eyes.

Leopard Seals


Leopard seals are the second largest species of seal found in Antarctica.
It is named for its black spotted coat.These seals are earless.They have long,slender body with with a dark grey back & light grey on their stomach.They have elongated heads & large jaws.Their front teeth are sharp,being a carnivorous.

Narwhals


Narwhals are unique looking whales with large horn-like tusk on their face.The name Narwhales means 'corpse whale' because they often swim belly up,lying motionless for several minutes.They are calm but move quick when threatened.
