Need For Conservation Of Wildlife In Nepal

Wildlife refers to the varieties of floras & faunas that are present in the environment. The type of plants & animals that are present in a place purely depends on the suitability of climatic conditions, altitude & rainfall.

Today the status of wildlife is critical.
Many animals that were present in the past is nowhere to be found now. They have become extinct.Even now some rare species are in the verge of extinction & immediate actions & care should be taken.

For instance, the illegal poaching of 1-horned rhino in chitwan has decreases the rhino population by more than 30% over the past 3 years. This has become a serious problem as such rare species should be protected.
Furthermore the population of rein-deer,Bengal tiger, snow leopard, musk deer & red panda is also in critical condition.

I think the government should pay attention to this serious issues & proper policy should be implemented. The national parks & wildlife reserves should be able to maintain the environment  for these wild animals.Forest should be protected & other resources like river & soil should be kept clean.Only when these wildlife are protected, tourism can prosper & the economy of the nation as well.
